Community
Investing in local people, places and priorities
Hardingstone Rise is being designed with the whole community in mind – delivering the homes Northampton needs while investing in the services and spaces that make a place feel like home.
What Hardingstone Rise will deliver:
- A new two-form entry primary school
Land will be set aside for a brand-new primary school at the heart of the development, providing much-needed school places for local families. - Significant new green infrastructure
Including allotments, children’s play areas and a linear park – The Rise – for walking, play and community events. - New walking and cycling routes
Safe, easy connections to local schools, shops and neighbourhoods – helping people get around without relying on a car. - Support for local transport
We’re exploring improved bus links along Newport Pagnell Road and the potential for a mobility hub with EV charging, car club spaces, bike storage, parcel lockers, and e-scooter parking – all supporting greener, more flexible travel. - Investment in local infrastructure
Through the planning process, we’ll contribute funding towards education, healthcare, highways and community facilities – including a proposed community building offering flexible space for local activities and meetings. This will help ensure the development benefits the wider area, not just new residents. - A boost for nature and wellbeing
With a focus on green space and sustainable design, the development will deliver at least a 10% biodiversity net gain and create healthier places for people and wildlife to thrive.
